Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
California and several other states give you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. This page explains that right and lets you submit your request.

1. Your Right to Opt Out
Dean Insurance is an insurance comparison and referral marketplace operated by Secure Systems, Inc. As explained in our Privacy Policy, when you request a quote we share the information you provide with third-party licensed insurance agents and carriers so they can contact you, and we may share information with marketing partners. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in other states, this kind of disclosure may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — and you have the right to opt out.
Opting out means we will stop selling or sharing your personal information for these purposes going forward. It does not require you to create an account, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising this right.
2. We Honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device — automatically, with no need to fill out the form below. Because this signal is tied to your specific browser and device, you may wish to enable it on each browser you use, or also submit the form so we can apply your choice to the information you provide.
3. Submit Your Opt-Out Request
Use the form below to opt out. You can also submit your request by email at [PRIVACY EMAIL] or by phone at [TOLL-FREE REQUESTS NUMBER].
4. What Happens After You Submit
Once we receive your request, we will process your opt-out as soon as feasible, and within 15 business days, and direct any service providers as required. We may need to verify your identity or, for an authorized-agent request, confirm the agent’s authority. After you opt out, we may still need to retain and use some information for purposes the law permits — such as completing a transaction you requested, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance — and we may still send you non-marketing communications about an inquiry you submitted.
Opting out applies to the browser, device, or information associated with your request. If you later use a different browser or submit new information, you may need to opt out again.
5. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof that you gave them signed permission to act for you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly. To submit as an authorized agent, select the appropriate option in the form or contact us using the details below and include the mailing address: [COMPANY MAILING ADDRESS].
6. Your Other Privacy Rights
This page covers your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You may have additional rights — such as the right to know, access, correct, or delete your personal information. To learn about and exercise those rights, please see our Privacy Policy.
